About Andrew Skeates Mobile Massage
I trained in Swedish Deep Tissue Massage in Australia over 20 years ago. This form of massage works to relieve tension in the deeper layer of tissue, helps to release chronic stress due to misalignment, repetitive strain injury and historical physical problems.A treatment with me will include a variety of techniques tailored to suit the needs or wants of the client. My treatment has evolved over the years through my training and travel experiencing different forms of massage and bodywork. I have taken the best of the approaches and incorporated them into my own form of massage therapy.
I became a masseur almost by accident, or should I say 2 accidents! I crushed the vertebra in my neck twice in the space of two years resulting in a period at a spinal hospital in Melbourne Australia. During my stay I had a lot of time to think and it was there that I decided to change from a heavy machine operator to Masseur. That was over 25 years ago and since then I have worked and studied in New Zealand (where I am from originally) Australia, America, Israel, Norway and here in the UK.
